Dr. D. Alan King, Th.D

Alan was saved at the age of twenty on March 18th, 1991. He received the calling of God in June of '91 and has been preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ ever since. He graduated from Christian Bible College with a Bachelor of Theology and from Slidell Baptist Seminary with a Master of Theology and a Doctor of Theology (majoring in Bible Theology and minoring in Christian Counseling) and pastored in Erwin, TN for ten years before coming to Zion Baptist Church in 2008. He has been married to his wonderful wife Shelley for the past eighteen years and they have five children, Caleb, Gracen, Jordan, Lindsey, and Cameron. Pastor King is available for a number of revival meetings each year.
